Robot Metabolism

The goal is to recreate the Origins of Life with robot links. The project takes place in the Creative Machines Lab at Columbia University under Professor Hod Lipson and PhD candidate Philippe M. Wyder. This required knowledge of assembly, both mechanical and electrical, as well as running thousands of hours of simulations. After running these simulations, we then tried to recreate our observations in real-time using the fleet of robot links assembled.
